What will you be doing in this role?
The Manager, HRIS has overall responsibility for the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) function. The Manager provides both strategic and tactical leadership in relation to Human Resources Technology ensuring enablement and alignment with the broader business, HR, and IT initiatives. The Manager is responsible for facilitating the overall design, implementation, change management and administration of HR Systems that support the organization's strategic objectives/goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides oversight of the day to day HR systems production support, both functional and technical, including, but not limited to, system enhancement, process improvements, proper resources allocations to ensure deliverables are met.
Provides leadership guidance to provide strategy, design, implementation, and maintenance of HR Systems and provide support to ancillary systems as needed.
Ensures proper HRIS support of technology projects, implementation, integrations, system upgrades and improvements.
Acts as a solutions partner and trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders such as EIS, Talent Management (TMOD), Project Management Office (PMO), Recruitment, HR Service Center, Payroll, HR Business Partners, Finance, organization operations and other areas to optimize the use of tools, assist with HR process optimization and standardization while balancing the business need for flexibility.
Leads HR reporting and analytics function and serve as exert resource for all HR data needs.
Maintains and enhances current reporting deliverables while exploring new and innovative ways to report and examine HR data using various tools such as Business Objects, SQL, Crystal Reports, and Tableau.
Develops and maintains the data integrity and security protocols across the HR Systems portfolio including regular audits for compliance.
Leads discussions and balance across multiple functions, both intra and interdepartmental business owners and subject matter experts to prioritize systems projects, enhancements, additional functionalities based on organizational needs.
Assists with vendor management contracts, negotiation of consultant rates and assist with departmental resource and budget planning where applicable.
Team Lead/Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Plans, leads, and directs work of staff to ensure goals and objectives are completed within established budget and deadlines are met.
Manages department performance and productivity to maintain standards for performance and that policies and procedures are documented, administered, and implemented in a fair and consistent manner.
Responsible for hiring, onboarding, managing schedules, personnel actions, performance reviews, and performance improvement plans.
Supervises the day-to-day work of employees, assigns work, ensures tasks are completed and deadlines are met.
Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration, Management, Human Resources or a related field.
Master's Degree - Human Resources Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
Human Resource Information Technology Certification (HRIP) preferred. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
9 years of progressive experience in a HR systems role. Experience in leading small to mid-size team (coaching and developing), HRIS Operations and HR Systems design and implementation.
10 years of experience in relational database, Cloud (Oracle) technology trends and tools in support of HR/Payroll business process management.
