1. Bachelor's degree in Administration, Public Administration, Human Services or related field. 2. Three (3) years' administrative experience working in a grant-funded college environment including the areas of workforce development, student services, grants/program management, and/or community outreach. 3. Three (3) years of providing customer service to diverse population, students, staff, community members and partner agencies using tact, courtesy and diplomacy and the ability to adapt to change in a growing environment serving diverse traditional and non-traditional students. 4. One (1) year of direct supervisory and project management experience which may be concurrent with requirement number one and two. 5. Experience building effective teams and establishing positive working relations with other offices, divisions and organizations. 6. Knowledge of basic financial analysis, with a demonstrated ability to efficiently organize and manage large amounts of complex information. 7. Knowledge of and ability to use college database systems (Web Advisor, Cognos, Datatel, Lumens). 8. Background must include strong analytical and documentation skills; attention to detail; experience assembling and presenting complex quantitative information as well as general information. 9. Demonstrated ability at the intermediate level in Microsoft Word and Excel. 10. Demonstrated multiple, concurrent project or grant management experience – including budget maintenance. Good organizational skills. Demonstrated project planning and time management, priority setting skills, history of on-time delivery of projects, and anticipation of issues. 11. Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary. 12. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. 13. Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, which may involve evening and/or weekend hours.
