The Director Social and Medical Digital Strategy will provide strategic and operational leader-ship of in the Medical Social Media and Medical Website Platforms in Medical Information and Communications by driving and enhancing information and leading in continuity in digital communication exchange and simplifying business critical activities through innovation and optimization.
The Director/Lead is responsible for leading strategic social and digital medical communications and medically accurate execution of relevant next generation and emerging digital and social media promotional and non-promotional activities across the US Phar-ma portfolio
* Provide guidance on Medical review considerations to inform development of frame-works for utilizing next-generation, omni-channel digital and social media tools and platforms in accordance with business goals and objectives * Serves as a primary Medical partner with commercial, medical affairs, global, and other stakeholders to help ensure digital and social media promotional and non-promotional activities are medically accurate and also comply with company rules, regulations and policies * Engage and educate Medical Information colleagues to ensure consistency, efficient and impactful execution of next-generation digital and social media initiatives across the Novartis portfolio * Responsible for driving the planning, implementation and oversight/monitoring of the USCDMA Social Media and Podcast strategy in order to increase medical content awareness, improve Medical education efforts and drive behavior change. * Lead and oversee the Social Media presence for USCDMA by monitoring defined social media KPIs while working collaboratively with the Social Media vendor in driving and communicating social media campaign metrics for US Pharma Medical Affairs. * Continually oversee appropriate content for the USCDMA Social Media channels (Twitter- LinkedIn- Spotify- Apple Podcasts) including Medical Education content, Publication awareness as well as expansion to other areas of USCDMA to create robust destination for external customers. (ie: HEOR and Clinical Operations) * Stay informed on the latest social media best practices, creative and innovative communication tactics and new posting technologies/strategies * Where appropriate, serve as author, reviewer or advisor on company SOPs, WPD, guidance's and/or training relating to appropriate use of digital, social media platforms and activities.
