The Kimmel Student Involvement Center (KSIC) is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for a full-time Associate Director vacancy. The Associate Director is responsible for providing effective leadership and establishing short/ long-term goals and objectives for the Kimmel Student Involvement Center. The selected candidate will provide overall supervision and direction to a variety of functional areas including but not limited to Student Leadership Development, Student Organization Development and Community Engagement. The Associate Director is responsible for advising, guiding and training the almost 300 recognized student organizations, providing primary advisement of Student Government and the Student Organization Advisory Board, and creating training for student organization advisors. The Associate Director will work collaboratively with faculty and staff for the purpose of improving and enhancing student development.
Additionally, the Associate Director oversees general operations of the Kimmel Student Involvement Center. These duties include oversight of department policies/procedures and compliance; inventory/asset and fiscal management; staff development; management of work spaces including student org space and reception area; as well as staff selection, training and supervision. They will also serve as a liaison on various departmental and university committees and participate in Student Affairs and campus-wide initiatives and programs.
Further duties and responsibilities may be assigned based on the needs and goals of the department. Due to the professional responsibilities of this position, occasional evening and weekend hours will be required.
