Missouri Military Academy (MMA) is seeking a head coach for high school varsity baseball for the 2021-2022 school year.
Coaching duties include overseeing the safety of practices and games, preparation and conduct of practices and games, and management of all team administration and equipment. All coaches must know, understand, and implement MSHSAA rules and regulations and attend mandatory coach’s clinics and meetings.

Coaches are expected to embrace the military educational model that is based on structure, self-discipline, and accountability, teach relevant skills, tactics, and techniques, encourage and motivate students for individual and team success. Candidates should be realistic and excited about the demands, challenges, and rewards of working in a military boarding school “family like” environment.
A commitment to the academic and social/emotional growth of young men is essential. The ideal candidate would possess excellent administrative, planning, and organizational skills and be able to successfully work with parents, colleagues, company leadership advisors, and cadets in a professional manner with a sense of purpose.
For head coaching positions, minimum of bachelor degree and three years coaching experience and assistant coaches should have a minimum of one year of coaching experience or Military experience is a plus. Preferably coaches will hold a full time position with MMA as well.
Coaching stipend is $5,000 for Head Coach position.
