The Phelps School seeks an instructor of Physics for the 2021-22 school year. Qualified candidates will be equally passionate about their subject and students, work well in a collaborative environment and integrate technology into their teaching.
Teachers at Phelps serve as advisors to as many as five students and are fully involved in co-curricular programs as coaches, activity sponsors, weekend trip chaperones, and community service project supervisors. Some reside on campus in faculty housing and serve as dorm parents (supervisors). Others live locally and commute to and from campus each day. All are dynamic men and women dedicated to helping each boy become a better man – in and out of the classroom. They enjoy working with students in relatively small classes and engaging collaboratively in curriculum design and constant professional improvement. They strive to integrate technology into their teaching and to help improve students’ creativity and critical thinking skills.

Additional Salary Information: The teacher will have the opportunity to serve on the residential life staff, with campus housing and utilities provided.
