We are currently seeking an Alumnae Relations Associate to join in the vision of our Advancement Team for the 2021-2022 school year.
Position: Alumnae Relations Associate
Reports to: Director of Alumnae Relations
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary This position reports to the Director of Alumnae Relations and is responsible for increasing the engagement of alumnae. Specifically, the Alumnae Relations Associate will support all aspects of communications, fundraising, and events related to alumnae and other constituents as needed.
Essential Functions The Alumnae Relations Associate will work with the Director to support alumnae fundraising, manage the young alumnae council, and communicate creatively and effectively with alumnae on behalf of the School. This position will manage the annual Alumnae Reunion, collaborate on all other alumnae events, update the alumnae website, and will hold other responsibilities as determined by the Director.
Three or more years of paid job experience is preferred.
Special events, fundraising, or marketing experience is a plus.
Special consideration is given to alumnae of Sacred Heart Network schools.
Experience with digital fundraising, social media and communication tools.
Computer skills: Word, Excel, etc. Experience using Canva, Raiser’s Edge NXT, OLX, Blackbaud or similar databases is a plus.
Ability to work independently, but also participate as an active member of the Advancement Team and the School community.
Excellent communication skills, especially written.
Ability to juggle appointments, schedules, and set and reach goals.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Occasional evening and weekend events including 5 evening Alumnae Board meetings.
This is a 12-month position.
