The University of Dayton is looking for a motivated individual to join our extended recruitment and admissions team as a Regional Enrollment Manager for the Northeast (New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Maine). This position will have a virtual office and the person hired will live in the New York City area. The goal of the position is to increase awareness of UD to prospective students, parents, high school counselors and alumni through both traditional recruitment methods as well as specialized and unique marketing programs. The Regional Enrollment Manager will advise students and families about the admission and financial aid process through group presentations, individual interviews and phone/email communication. The selected candidate will develop a recruitment strategy for the assigned territory, including reviewing and analyzing data, evaluating effectiveness of recruitment activities and determining the need for additional efforts. High energy and flexibility are necessary for this position as there are significant overnight, evening and weekend hours.
Bachelor's degree with at least one year of experience in college admission, financial aid, and/or student services at the high school or college level. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently and have excellent communication, public speaking and relationship management skills. Must be willing to travel 6-8 weeks out of the year. Valid driver's license with low risk driving record.
