Our IT unit, which is responsible for devising and deploying solutions to our strategic business lines (Fund Administration, Transfer Agent, Private Equity/Real Estate -PERE- funds central administration), is seeking to hire a new Platform Manager to meet the growing needs of Pictet in Luxembourg and to strengthen its development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a 20-person team (composed of tech leaders, solution architects and business analysts) and will be assisted by two domain managers, who are already in place.
As leader for the TA/FA/PERE platforms, you will be responsible for:
Vision and partnership:
Setting up a platform strategic vision and roadmap covering business needs and strategies, functional and technical architecture, etc.
Developing strong relationships with stakeholders and sponsors to become a trusted advisor and business partner.
Making recommendations and influencing development of the platform to meet business needs and deploy a robust technical vision.
Maintaining consistency and homogeneity between domains and developing synergies between business lines.
Promoting the platform within the department as well as externally; collaborating with other Tech&Ops units.
Ensuring adherence to and compliance with Group standards, procedures and values.
Communicating with management, producing relevant KPIs, being actively involved in the management team (MACO).
Budget and total cost of ownership:
Ensuring that budgets and costs are efficiently managed.
Assigning projects and work within the platform in the most agile and efficient way.
People management (for the above-mentioned direct reports):
Making sure that the best people and competencies are in place: recruitment and assigning resources, people development.
Getting the best out of people: motivation, coaching, performance management, rewards.
Ensuring communication within the platform; acting as a facilitator and a problem solver.
Qualifications and experience:
University degree in Computer Science.
At least five years' previous experience in IT development and mandatory experience of management of IT cross-disciplinary teams
Excellent knowledge of the fund industry, business and processes, especially transfer agent, fund administration and private equity & real estate.
Good knowledge of Multifonds & EFront.
Good command of French and English.
Excellent leadership skills.
Strong team player, able to build positive and collaborative relationships among all IT teams, clients/operations and providers.
Capacity to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously.
Clear and concise communication.
Able to manage stress.
