Job Description Fortune Five CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for an Asset Protection Future Operations Director to join our dynamic team. As the Asset Protection Future Operations Director, you will play a critical role as part of the Asset Protection Leadership Team functioning as a strategic advisor across both Asset Protection and the Retail business. You will drive value by partnering with various Initiative Leaders and functional owners across the Retail business to more proactively ensure we safeguard against any profitability erosion. In addition, you will provide support within Asset Protection to address key shrink risks.
As the Asset Protection Future Operations Director, you are an experienced proven leader responsible for developing plans and procedures for all forward looking key initiatives and risks. This includes the following three key components:
1. Partnering with all Initiative and Functional Owners across retail to resolve areas adversely impacting profitability 2. Evaluating all potential known and unknown threats impacting the ability to serve CVSâ™ customers 3. Unlocking critical areas of value in how various capabilities evolve across Asset Protection to ensure continued relevancy to the changing needs of the business
You will architect strategies and plans on how best to navigate through these key components. This will include, but not limited to, creating the right blueprint, structure, and operational playbook to identify and address these opportunities more proactively â“ and be well positioned to mobilize the appropriate cross-functional team responsible for navigating and executing the plan.
Since this capability resides within Asset Protection, the need to develop strong partnerships across the enterprise to ensure continuous alignment, coordination and collaboration is essential. You will report directly to the Vice President, Asset Protection, and will support all key Retail-driven Initiatives (i.e., ACOs, HealthHubs, BOPIS, etc.) across the Retail business, 4 to 5 Sr Directors, and their extended teams.
Required Qualifications â¢ 10 or more years of prior relevant experience OR Master's degree with 7 or more years of prior relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications â¢ Structured & Logical Thinking: The ability to identify and define business problems and issues, and develop strategic, analytical and financial frameworks to conduct analysis and/or measure success â¢ Intellectual Curiosity and Tenacity: Ability and willingness to learn on the fly to understand and solve complex problems â¢ Team Leadership: Highly developed relationship-building and influencing skills to foster effective working relations across Asset Protection and Initiative Owners across the Retail business â¢ Self-directed and highly organized with strong written and oral communication skills; able to provide positive leadership across multiple work streams in a fast-paced, complex working environment â¢ Demonstrated project management skills with an emphasis on integrating multiple work outputs into a unified deliverable and executive narrative â¢ Demonstrated organized, detail-oriented, and structured thinking and execution, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities as needed in order to meet deadlines, demonstrating a high level of independent judgment and proactivity â¢ Ability to effectively collaborate across Senior Level business owners to impact and influence â¢ Proven risk assessment and business continuity planning of potential known and unknown threats â¢ Ability to drive innovation and efficiencies in day-to-day operations â¢ Leadership experience in retail, healthcare, or pharmacy organizations â¢ Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Retail or Military work experience
Education â¢ Bachelor's degree/specialized training/relevant professional qualification
