The UK Department of Psychiatry seeks a counselor/therapist to provide individual, group and/or family therapy in a large psychiatry clinic with 22,000+ patient visits per year.
This individual will be part of a multidisciplinary team of providers to provide comprehensive mental health care for patients in an Ambulatory setting.
Responsibilities will include providing therapy and related services to new and established patients through individual and group therapy in a collaborative, academic environment, timely preparation of chart notes and submission of billing through the electronic medical record, participating in adult and/or child team meetings and care as well as participate in staff meetings.
This individual will not provide direct supervision to students and residents, but will interact with them to provide clinical care.
Qualified candidates will have experience providing direct counseling/therapy to patients with a focus on patients ranging from child/adolescence through adulthood.
Assessment and Intervention skills, Problem Solving, Advanced Technical Writing, Clinical skills, Program Evaluation and Interpretation of Data skills, Public Speaking skills, Electronic Health Record.

Required Related Experience:
Required License/Registration/Certification :
Master's degree in Social Work/EdS in Counseling Psychology, LPCC or the equivalent preferred.
