The University of Texas at Dallas Student Counseling Center (SCC) is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Student Counseling Center/Training Director to join our multidisciplinary team of dedicated mental health professionals. The Training Director coordinates and oversees all training programs, including the robust APA-accredited Doctoral Internship program and Practicum Training program.

-Doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited Program -Licensed or license eligibility as a psychologist in the state of Texas -Three (3) years post-internship -Two (2) or more years experience providing clinical supervision to trainees or professional staff -Two (2) or more years experience in university counseling, including knowledge of an APA-accredited training program -Demonstrated experience providing services to members of marginalized populations -Demonstrated commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusion initiatives -Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals -Effective therapist with strong clinical skills and ability to maintain up to date and accurate documentation
Preferred Education and Experience:
Desired Qualifications: -Administrative experience in a university counseling center -Extensive experience (e.g., 5+ years) providing psychological services, supervision, outreach, and consultation in a university counseling center -Extensive experience providing supervision and training to doctoral psychology students -Clear evidence of interest and experience working with a wide range of diverse student identities and needs; for example, international, historically underrepresented or underserved students, LGBTQ identified students, and student with disabilities
