This role assists lead Financial Advisor and Team Members in delivering an exceptional client experience to both new and existing clients. Position will consistently follow the highest standards of business and professional ethics and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements. This is not a sales position.
Input client data into Naviplan for Foundational financial plans.
Handle and process checks, forms, and requests received by clients.
Protect client data and maintain strict confidentiality.
Prepare forms, applications, documents, or other written materials, ensuring they are complete and accurate prior to submission for processing.
Place trades and process transactions in accordance with firm policy, as directed by primary advisor.
Assist with business tracking of transactions such as rollovers, processing transfers, and assisting with insurance policy services.
Ad hoc projects/duties as assigned by primary advisor.
Key Traits of a Successful Candidate:
High competency on computer-based programs and applications such as Microsoft Office, Naviplan, Thomson ONE, Morningstar Advisor Workstation.
Analytic and strategic thinker, problem solver.
Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work both supervised and unsupervised.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks daily and adjust to ever-changing demands.
Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills, ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with the team, clients, Ameriprise Corporate Office, and third-party vendors.
Proven written and oral communications skills and high-level of superior client service attitude.

Willingness to adhere to compliance regulations as stated and required by Ameriprise Financial Services Inc, FINRA and any other regulatory body with oversight responsibility for our practice.
Applicant Education and License Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's degree in Related Area of Study (Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting) with 3 years of industry related experience and current Series 7, Series 63/66, & Oregon Life Health Insurance Licenses.
Preference given to applicants with recent relevant work experience in financial services with similar role.
Commensurate with candidate qualifications and experience.
