Reporting to the Head of Finance – (APAC), you will be responsible for general finance functions such as FP&A, Finance & Operations and Valuations. You will also be working very closely with the fund administrator.
You will be involved in providing information, management reports, analysis and recommendation on a broad range of financial, operational and business issues. You will prepare financials and analysis/projections for funds/projects, coordinate annual budget process. You will develop/manage reports to proactively monitor financial results and cash flows and support the management team in making effective decisions.
You will also be responsible for financial and tax reporting for the fund and Special Purpose Vehicles ("SPVs"), including reviewing periodic consolidated fund reporting (IFRS, INREV and local GAAP) and performance data for investors. You will be responsible for reviewing constitution documents, calculations of subsequent closings, IRR's, management fees, carried interest, capital calls and distributions and participating in tax structuring and lead establishment and liquidation of funds and SPVs. You will arrange annual audit and tax filing process of the funds and SPVs by coordinating closely with fund administrators, external auditors and tax advisors. You will be responsible for monitoring compliance and provide operating support to the investment team on deal execution and exits. You will participate in investment committee process and asset management of portfolio companies including monitoring of performance and deal restructuring as well as coordinating board meetings/resolutions for various fund related entities. You will assist where necessary with valuation of investments and recommendations to senior management.
You are degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or similar concentration and CPA/CA or equivalent
qualification with a min of 5 years (ideally about 6-8 years) of solid finance and accounting experience within the real estate private equity fund industry, preferably with prior audit experience.
You have prior experience in tax structuring and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You possess a high energy personality with an excellent command of English and the ability to interact with internal and external international stakeholders (Business Heads, Headquarters, Custodians, Investors). You are highly meticulous and take ownership and pride in your deliverables.
