Citi has an exciting opportunity for a Regional TA Transformation Program Manager to join our APAC Talent Acquisition team. This role reports to the APAC Head of TA Strategy & Programs based in Hong Kong.
The TA function along with the wider Citi organization has a large transformation agenda and vision for 2021 and beyond.This vision requires a high degree of focus and change management across the organization. The primary focus of this role is to support the design, tracking & review, delivery, and implementation of transformation initiatives in TA from an effectiveness perspective. Process simplification and automation is a principal objective.
This key role is tasked with bringing influence of senior HR leadership together with the field knowledge and ideas of subject matter experts to deliver meaningful results.
In addition, the role is responsible for APAC TA's Diversity and Inclusion and culture initiatives.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a high degree of collaboration and cooperation with a range of stakeholders to create new solutions that reduce points of friction and are derived from tangible data insights. This is a strategic position which plays a meaningful role in helping Citi attract, engage, and hire the best and most diverse talent at all levels of the organization. Supports APAC Head of TA S&P with execution of key transformation initiatives; improving partnership and follow-through with HR stakeholders to achieve timely results
Exercise evaluative judgement based on analysis of data and in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures to simplify and improve the function while achieving alignment to ops model
Monitor continuous improvement agenda in close collaborate with APAC TA leadership; pinpoint strategic opportunities and identify need for escalation when off-track
Regular transformation work communication to TA, HR, and re-engineering leadership resulting in removal of blockers and visibility of cross-functional efforts e.g. Maintain a transformation dashboard
Promote execution of key actions identified through systematic country operations review and act as a catalyst for the sharing of best practices
Coordinate with peers to design and execute regional training plan, including creation of training videos and improved use of on-demand tools evidenced by usage reporting
Oversee delivery of data and visualizations providing insights for execution of transformation hiring
Leveraging data, improve Diversity and Inclusion results across APAC. This includes facilitating training opportunities, maintaining a regional resource library, etc.
Engage with TA Diversity global counterparts to represent APAC and influence the global approach; and to coordinate related initiatives and agenda communication
Act as an advisor or support on an ad-hoc basis to improved use of technology and systems.
Directly support MD from time to time with special ad-hoc projects
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
5 - 8 years of experience in HR Recruitment or process transformation related roles. Experience in continuous improvement
Familiarity with large HR systems and applications (e.g. Avature/Workday) and an understanding of large-scale implementations and project management principles
Proven track record of using influence to deliver results in a matrix organization across countries/ regions/ geographies
High level of data literacy with a results-driven approach achieved through obsessive use of data
Practiced learning agility, able to grasp new concepts quickly
Aptitude to tackle and resolve complex issues and handle ambiguity
Works well within a regional team environment with peers, subject matter experts, analysts, and technical specialists
Self-motivated and well organized. Able to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities
Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint)
Highly collaborative, team orientated and a strong consensus builder
Skillful storyteller and communicator able to facilitate discussion and interact
Ability to navigate robust process documentation and governance frameworks
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
