We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Admission to join in the vision of our Admission Team for the 2021-2022 school year.
Position: Assistant Director of Admission
Reports to: Director of Admission and Financial Aid
FLSA Status: Exempt
The Assistant Director of Admission is particularly responsible for planning, coordinating and directing activities designed to attract, enroll and retain students to Sacred Heart Greenwich, as well as participating in school-wide admission efforts. A willingness to learn about the School, our mission, curriculum, and admission policies is essential. This is a full-time position. The Assistant Director will report to the Director of Admission & Financial Aid.
In collaboration with the Admission Office team, assist in developing and executing a strategic vision for recruitment, engagement, and admission of students that are consistent with the School’s enrollment goals.
Support the recruitment process by connecting and communicating with prospective students and their families to keep them fully engaged throughout the admission process and provide top-notch customer service.
Interview prospective students and parents, read and evaluate admission files, and organize and serve on Admission Committees.
Support and/or manage projects related to other office-wide efforts such as marketing and admission communications, data analysis, outreach, and event planning.
Represent Sacred Heart Greenwich at various events both on and off campus.
Build relationships with all constituencies to foster a strong sense of community.
Bachelor’s degree required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Exceptional interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively and proactively
Admission and/or independent school experience preferred
