Suffolk University Law School is delighted to announce the opportunity to serve as our new Dean of Admission.
The leader of our admissions team will have the opportunity to leverage Suffolk Law's unparalleled strength in practical skills training to attract outstanding, promising and diverse law students. For example, we are the only law school in the nation ranked in the top 20% in all U.S. News skills categories for six years in a row. (This year, the rankings included Legal Writing at #4, Clinics at #15, Trial Advocacy at #24, and Dispute Resolution at #32.) Moreover, our overall U.S. News ranking has climbed 15 spots in the last 3 years. Suffolk Law is also a leader in legal tech, having twice been named the top school in the nation in that area by preLaw Magazine (2018 and 2021).
Our strengths have contributed to a dramatic 8-point rise in our median LSAT score over the last 6 years, and we have seen a 40% increase in applications during the current admissions cycle. We also have reported our strongest employment outcomes in more than 30 years, besting the national average for the percentage of our graduates in full-time, long-term jobs where a JD is required or a significant advantage.
This opportunity to be a part of the Law School's dynamic, diverse team requires a leader with a highly successful record of results-oriented achievements in all aspects of admissions, such as developing strategies for applicant growth, thinking creatively about marketing, making data-driven decisions about scholarships, increasing the diversity of applicants and enrollees, and reducing the "melt" of deposited students. A J.D. is recommended but not required.
We encourage you to apply for the opportunity to join Suffolk Law as we continue to advance the Law School and the success of our graduates!

About Suffolk University
Located right in the heart of downtown Boston, Suffolk University gives its students unparalleled access to the city and all it offers. Our college green is the Boston Common. We are steps from dozens of historic sites like the Old State House, Faneuil Hall, and the Massachusetts State House. We have no real boundaries to our campus' Boston and Suffolk blend together. That means our students have incredible access to a wealth of opportunities, whether it's museums and restaurants or internships and co-ops. At the same time, we also take pride in being a personal, student-centered school, where faculty and administrators know students by name. We take the time to recognize each student's promise, figure out what makes him or her tick, and build important mentoring relationships. As we have done since our founding, we strive for one thing at Suffolk: give students the tools they need to be successful, smart, and satisfied at whatever they choose to do.
