Sheppard Pratt is seeking licensed psychologists for full-time positions at The Sheppard Pratt School – Glyndon. Sheppard Pratt School - Glyndon is a Type I nonpublic special education program that provides educational and therapeutic services to children and adolescents grades one through eight who have complex emotional disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
As a Licensed Psychologist, you will:
Provide individual and group therapy to a caseload of students using a variety of interventions, including cognitive-behavioral, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed approaches
Collaborative consultation as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team (social workers, psychiatrists, speech/language, occupational therapy)
Participate in weekly clinical team meetings and biweekly professional development trainings
Periodically conduct psychological assessment
Develop of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for caseload in coordination with academic teams
Support and engage in therapeutic milieu activities
Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD)
Current license to practice in Maryland
Experience working with children and adolescents
Prior experience in a school or therapeutic milieu setting is a plus
