You will be part of the Strategy and Innovation department at M emorial S loan K ettering and will lead partnerships and programs to make it simple for cancer patients to access the best possible care, easing the burden of a cancer diagnosis.
MSK Direct creates a relationship between Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) and employers, plan sponsors, channel partnersand unions, ensuring simplified, guided access to the benefits of cancer treatment at MSK for partner employees/members and their families. With MSK Direct, employees have direct access to a team of dedicated professionals who specialize in cancer. The team includes experienced nurses, social workers, and MSK Care Advisors who will be there to guide them through the process of getting care.
As theBusiness DevelopmentManager,you willbe responsible for thedevelopmentand execution of the full BD life cycle across multiple market segments. You will be expected to identify emerging requirements, perform market analysis, conduct competitive intelligence, collaborate withmarketing to create lead generation plans, pitch products to prospects and assume accountability for the implementation of sold business. You understand the complexities of cultivating long-term relationships with clients and prospects. You will report into the Director of MSK Direct Partnerships.
Manage end-to-end sales process from lead generation to pipeline management throughcontractexecution and implementation.
Manage pipeline activity in Salesforce.
Forge and cultivate a broad network across the healthcare ecosystem, particularly with employers,plan sponsors,unions, health plans,consultants, channel partnersand other groups to enable scale.
Build effective consultative relationships with prospects and clients during the sales process.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline data collection for reporting.
Maintain accountability with prospect, internal cross-functionalpartnersand external vendors through implementation.
Support account management to expand current client relationships.
Knowledgeable about business and the commercial / employer marketplace and able to apply this knowledge to advance your organization's goals.

Business Development experience inself-fundedemployer health benefits space (health plan, benefits technology, PBM, consultant)
5-8years health care relationship management or business development experience
The ability to navigate through complexity and ambiguity
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to establish credibility and trust with internal and external partners, including at the executive level. This includes excellent verbal and written presentation and influence skills
Bachelors or equivalent experience
