You will work in a close knit team in our Canberra offices. Flexible work arrangements are available. This new role reflects continued investment in Federal Government. The key purpose is to accelerate growth in an existing Tier 1 national security agency and look to develop new strategic relationships in other related federal accounts.

What we’re looking for...
We are looking for an experienced, talented solutions sales executive to lead large and complex customer pursuits in excess of millions of dollars. Within this role you will be responsible for defining and executing the deal pursuit strategy from initial development phase through to successful contract signature. Working closely with the client, senior executives at Verizon and an extended network of subject matter experts, you will be responsible for creating compelling business outcomes that differentiate Verizon from our competitors in the marketplace.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Sixor more years of relevant work experience
Consultative/solutions thought leadership experience.
Global solutions development and delivery experience.
Australian government security clearance (NV1or higher)
Out-tasking and outsourcing deal leadership experience.
Experience in selling complex multi-tower solutions.
Experience with direct sales and consortia/partnership based commercial relationships.
Experience with complex deal commercial contracting and risk identification/mitigation techniques.
Willingness to travel.

Analytical skills and the ability to adopt a detailed commercial approach.
Management and leadership skills with a proven track record in managing large and geographically distributed teams.
Experience in ICT solution sales.
Proven track record in ICT sales, software defined networking, unified communications, managed network services, cloud and digital security.
Good industry knowledge and great business insight.
Strong influencing skills and sound judgment.
Ability to work effectively in teams in multiple roles (i.e. contributor through to leader).
