This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more This Position located in the Tennessee Valley Healthcare system (VA TVHS), Mental Health Care Line Clarksville Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). Provides up to 65% management services, to include: oversight of administrative and programmatic resources and responsibilities for a program that delivers treatment and related services and interventions including medication management, assessment, case management, psychotherapy, & education for Veterans with a full range of mental health treatment. Major duties and responsibilities include: Responsible for directing the activities of multidisciplinary clinical teams comprised of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, advance practice nurses, counselors, peer support specialists and program clerks. Directing, administering, and managing all aspects of the Mental Health CBOC program. Coordinates programming with program managers from other programs, as well as in the Mental Health Care Line with responsibility to negotiate service agreements and other forms of collaboration. Collaborates with discipline supervisors including psychiatry, psychology, social work, primary care and nursing by providing input in hiring, performance reviews, incentives, and discipline. Triages and assigns referrals for services in a systematic way and makes treatment recommendations. Establishes and modifies clinic scheduling profiles for all the MH CBOC staff. Duties with the clinical staff includes providing clinical consultation in utilizing evidence based therapeutic practices and clinical practice guideline. May be involved in the training of students and interns. Responsible for timely completion of all clinical charting and documentation required by the Medical Center or healthcare system, as appropriate.
