The Senior Projects and Stewardship Analyst, under general direction from the Senior Director Office of Gift Policy Administration and Donor/Fund Stewardship, is responsible for providing high-level financial analysis and project management services in support of the Gift Policy Administration and Donor/Fund Stewardship team, Advancement Services, and Advancement. The position, performs complex financial and constituent analysis, and develops, reviews, evaluates, refines, and modifies reports and procedures for stewardship collateral in response to donor giving per established criteria or special request. The Senior Projects and Stewardship Analyst acts as a liaison to subject matter experts, key stakeholders, and system/technical leads in Advancement, across campus, and internal and external contacts to ensure effective procedures and business processes are in place to support collaboration and partnership on gift fund and stewardship-related initiatives.
Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced financial service professional with a full understanding of industry practices and organizational policies and procedures. Resolves a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Primarily deals with policies, programs, and proposals which are complex in nature and diverse in scope. Develops new programs, policies, or procedures for possible implementation.

Advanced proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software in the use of business computer applications, including word processing (mail merges, merge fields) relational databases, spreadsheets (functions: concatenate, custom sorts, conditional format) electronic mail, the Web, and social networks.
Superior knowledge of correct English grammar usage, standards of business English, punctuation, proofreading, and editing. Ability to grasp and accurately communicate nuance and finer points of distinction. Proven success creating comprehensive narrative documents.
Working knowledge of the dynamics of fundraising and the concepts of development and advancement or equivalent. Experience using a constituent management database. Demonstrated knowledge of fundraising principles and practices in a higher-educational setting.
Proven experience comprehending, analyzing, and interpreting moderately complex financial data, written policies, and procedures. Experience to perform moderately complex mathematical computations with accuracy and make practical and effective decisions and recommendations.
