DBS' Private Banking offers a one-stop, full-service touch-point for total banking requirements and provides the highest level of personalized banking. We have a team of dedicated, experienced investment advisors who identify opportunities in the various asset classes and employ the best strategies and product vehicles to cater to each client's needs. Coupled with partnerships within the DBS network and with global institutions, we strive to build long-term relationships with our Private Banking clients in Asia by providing them with high quality, timely and extensive wealth management, investment and financial solutions.
The Private Banking (PB) and Treasures Private Client (TPC) Onboarding Team is responsible for assisting PB and TPC Relationship Managers to drive client on-boarding through working closely with Know Your Client (KYC / AML) and Wealth Management Operations (WMO) teams. The successful candidate is expected to ensure the related onboarding documentations are properly furnished with high quality before submitting to KYC / WMO for independent review.

Responsibilities
  • Account Opening Documentations - Ensures submitted documents have been properly completed according to the bank's requirements
  • KYC - Ensures submitted KYC writeup meets the minimum requirements set forth by the KYC team and related business procedures - Liaise with RM/ARM's where necessary
  • Compliance - Adhere and complies to bank's policies, standards, operational guidelines / procedures, security and internal control measures while maintaining a high level of professional integrity
  • Reporting - Ensures accurate data tracking and supports management reporting as required
  • Team Player - Ensures the team's success by building solid relationships with fellow counterparts. Ensures the team and business objectives are met with harmony and unity. Along with the Team Lead, assists in managing a small team of staff
  • Projects - Participates in relevant business projects as the team's SME

Requirements
  • Degree holder in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in the Private Banking industry, or consulting with a Financial Services focus
  • KYC / Forensics / Account On-boarding related experience is highly preferred
  • Customer-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Accurate with strong attention to details
  • Self-motivated, able to multitask effectively and delivers with a high level of integrity / accountability
