DESCRIPTIONThe incumbent will work as the UCSD Eating Disorders Program Representative, providing a comprehensive range of general services for the UCSD Eating Disorder clinical programs including: the Adolescent Day Treatment Program, the Adolescent IOP Program, the Adult Day Treatment Program, and the Adult IOP Program. Duties include, but are not limited to: identifying and understanding the social, and mental health needs of the client and communicating those needs to professional personnel; screening clients for co-morbid disorders upon program admission and enter these data into de-identified database for treatment tracking; performing administrative support duties. Developing promotional materials for clinic and research programs. Assisting with providing clinical support, such as supervising patients during meals and snacks to monitor patients' maladaptive behaviors and intervening as necessary; communicating with staff members about emergent patient issues; assisting research staff with education and skill-building group sessions and with coordination, marketing, and implementation of treatment studies. As well as performing other duties and responsibilities as required. Uses professional development concepts in the completion of community health outreach activities for hospital services/programs. Applies content knowledge to promote services in the community. Performs program support duties such as identifying and meeting with community partners, drafting program education materials, organizing events, maintaining program database, etc. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
