Classification Title: Human Services Coordinator III College/Division: Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support Department: SAAS Counseling and Psychiatric Service Advertised Salary Range: $44,825 - $72,067 Please note, this range is based on an 11 month position. Advertised Job Summary: The Specialized Services Counselor works under the direction of the Coordinator of Specialized Services, and in conjunction with case managers and the Behavioral Health Specialist to provide supportive interventions to students with Body Image/Eating Disorder issues, as well as students with specific targeted mental health and medical conditions which require coordinated care within the Patient-Centered medical home model. They will implement protocols and procedures to ensure quality clinical care for students with Body Image/Eating Disorder issues and assist in coordinating care for students with complex mental health and medical profiles. Collaborates with community providers to establish relationships and assist with referrals. Participates in all Eating Disorder Consultation Team meetings. Administrative duties to include monitoring of all eating disorder related referrals, management of the eating disorder treatment team agenda, and regular reports summarizing eating disorder treatment team data. They will also provide a broad range of counseling services to students, including evaluation and assessment, treatment planning, and treatment within the modalities of individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. Provide crisis intervention and management, and consultation to families, faculty and staff. Practices and maintains clinical documentation according to SHS, CAP, and professional legal and ethical standards. They will participate in and lead committees as needed. They will provide service, and ensure service provision in accordance with policies, procedures, and protocols of the unit and SHS, as well as laws and ethics applicable to mental health services. They will also ensure adherence to credentialing, privileging and peer review processes. Advertised Minimum Qualifications : Master's degree in a related field and 2 years related experience.
