Headwaters School, a Pre-K through grade 12 independent day school serving 450 students across its three campuses in Austin, TX, is seeking a full time Auxiliary Programs Manager to begin May 2021. The Auxiliary Programs Manager reports directly to our Senior Director of Finance and Advancement. Job Summary: The Auxiliary Programs Manager is responsible for the development and coordination of all non-traditional revenue streams for the school, including camps, auxiliary programs, and facility rentals. The ideal Auxiliary Programs manager is entrepreneurial, energetic, and has experience in creating and implementing programming for children ages 3-18. This position has oversight of scheduling, programming, hiring, marketing and communication, and facilities planning. The Auxiliary Programs Manager will interact with and serve a variety of constituents including parents, students, faculty, and staff. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential. The person in this role must be approachable, enthusiastic, and able to work collaboratively in a team setting. Computer proficiency, particularly in working with database programs, is required. Bachelor’s degree required and fluency in Spanish is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years planning student programs, preferably in an educational institution. Essential Job Duties:
This is a full-time, 12-month salaried, exempt position and compensation is competitive for the greater Austin area.
