Admissions Counselor / Assistant Director of Admissions

The admissions counselor/assistant director of admissions manages a portfolio of projects and initiatives and participates in multiple aspects of the admissions and financial aid process: conducting information sessions, managing an admissions recruitment territory, reviewing applications for admission, and traveling to high schools, community-based organizations, and college fairs. We encourage inquiries from candidates who will contribute to the diversity of our College, including its cultural and ethnic diversity. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
KEY RELATIONSHIPS: The admissions counselor/assistant director of admissions has significant interaction with prospective students and their families, faculty, staff, and external constituents. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: General open office and campus environment. Position involves sitting, although frequent movement is necessary. Computer usage involving repetitive hand/wrist motion is also necessary. Several weeks of domestic travel and frequent evening and weekend work required throughout the year. Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be necessary.
