The Academic Services department at Cleveland State University is currently accepting applications for our 2 graduate assistant positions for the 2021-22 academic year. The assistantship is a 9 month appointment offering a tuition waiver and monthly stipend which can be extended to a second year. Within this role at CSU you can expect to: advise student-athletes on their academic future, work 1 on 1 with students that need academic assistance, aid in the initial and continuing eligibility process, and so much more. 40% - Assist athletics academic advisors in providing academic advising and support services to student-athletes 40% - Conduct weekly academic and success coach meetings with assigned student-athletes 5% - Aid in the initial & continuing certification process for all 18 NCAA sports 5% - Assist in planning and staffing study hall and tutorial assistance programs 5% - Assist in collecting data and preparing reports for athletics academic advisors in all aspects of academic support services 5% - Perform other duties as assigned by the director of advising and/or athletics academic advisors.
