We're looking for candidates who have: - A doctorate degree in nursing, or a related field with a master's degree in nursing.
- An active, unencumbered Colorado or multi -state Registered Nurse license.
- Three years of full-time teaching experience in a nationally-accredited nursing program.
- Previous experience in nursing education program leadership.
- Evidence of scholarship and/or research activities.

The BSN Program Director contributes to the University’s mission through their work both inside and outside of the classroom as they teach classes, mentor students, and collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance and advance exemplary academics, spiritual growth, and engagement with the world
- Provide leadership, management and oversight for the BSN program, including Pre-Nursing Pathway collaboration, to assure quality and integrity of the academic program, curriculum, services and operations.
- Implement and administer the daily operations and policies for the BSN program, including semester planning, In collaboration with staff and Assistant Directors,
- Provide leadership in BSN program development, implementation, expansion, and revision, ensuring congruency of course and curriculum with University mission and goals and role of the BSN graduate.
- Assure that teaching and learning practices and environments support the achievement of expected student learning outcomes for all leaning environments (in-seat/online theory and simulation and clinical practicum program delivery).
- Conduct BSN student learning assessment, including assessment plan modifications, annual assessment reports, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage student admission, orientation, progression, retention, and international experiences.
- Recruit, assign, orient, mentor, and evaluate affiliate faculty teaching in the BSN program.
- Assign academic advisors for BSN students.
- Train Enrollment Counselors on program details and updates once each semester (3 times annually).
- Assist in writing reports related to Colorado Board of Nursing and Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Accreditation as required.
- Teach a minimum of six credits annually.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to walk, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, speak with clarity, and have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Working irregular hours including evenings and weekends is expected. Local, statewide and national travel is required. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at the computer keyboard or workstation. Faculty responsibilities frequently require extended hours in the work week including evenings and weekends. Colorado Christian University expects all faculty and staff to become a part of the University community by participating in activities and events that occur on the campus throughout the year, which may occur during evenings and weekends.

Faculty pay will be assigned by rank at a range of $50,000-$75,000. Pay is assigned by reviewing a combination of job-related factors that may include: internal/external pay equity, the salary structure/pay grade, or a candidate’s qualifications/experience for the job.
