Presentation High School in San Jose, California is seeking on-campus, camp counselor(s) to join the 2021 Summer at Pres staff.
All camps will be in person unless prohibited by county Covid-19 safety regulations.

Some core responsibilities of the Camp Counselor include:
Model for campers the mission and values of Presentation High School.
Supervise campers throughout the day, rotating between mini classes
Plan and implement fun games and theme-related activities for the unstructured portions of the day
Communicate with families during check in and check out
Create and maintain a positive camp environment in which campers feel supported and comfortable
Build community and camaraderie with and among the campers.
Attend to the socio/emotional needs of campers.
Work with instructors to provide supervision while campers are in mini classes
Provide disciplinary support to instructors while campers are in mini classes
Support a healthy and safe camp atmosphere by making sure campers and their families adhere to Covid-19 safety guidelines, assisting in health screening of students, helping campers learn the camp’s health/safety protocols, etc.
Facilitate camper transitions into/outside of mini classes and activities, including escorting campers to other destinations on campus and/or monitoring bathroom and food breaks.
