The faculty member of the College of Nursing contributes to the mission of the college by integrating the roles of teacher, researcher/scholar/clinician, and leader. The details of the faculty's workload distribution will be negotiated with the Chairperson, based on the needs of the College of Nursing, as well as on candidate's expertise and interest. Workload is determined one year in advance and annual reviews are done based on college needs and/or faculty requests.

The College of Nursing at Rush University is seeking applicants for Assistant or Associate rank Faculty position (12-month, full time) beginning summer/fall 2021. Work at a top ranked College with the nation's best nurse scholars, clinicians and students. The #1 Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing program is seeking faculty to join a supportive and dynamic department. A PhD or DNP in nursing and clinical experience in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing is required by the start date of the position. PMHNP certification is required. Experience working with students and teaching is highly desirable. The position supports teaching in both the Generalist Entry Masters and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. The College has unique tracks to pursue both research and/or clinical practice in addition to teaching with time allocated to these pursuits.
