The Wardlaw+Hartridge School, located in Edison, New Jersey, seeks an experienced, dynamic, and resourceful Mathematics teacher.
We seek to hire a highly-qualified educator for a full-time teaching position in the Upper School Mathematics Department (grades 9 - 12). The ideal candidate will be able to teach a variety of Upper School mathematics courses that range from Algebra I to AP Calculus. The selected candidate will serve as an advisor to a small group of students and participate fully in the life of the Wardlaw+Hartridge School, including effectively collaborating with colleagues, engaging in a continual cycle of professional development, actively joining meetings, committees, service learning, and other community gatherings, and working to uphold the mission and vision of the school. Teachers are expected to serve as club advisors and/or coaches as well.
All candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the school’s mission and core values of Integrity, Opportunity, Support, Diversity, Community, and Sustainability. Demonstrated success crafting curricula with a global perspective and framework.
A master's degree and 3 - 5 years of teaching experience is preferred.
