St. Stephen's Episcopal School, a day and boarding school of 690 students (grades 6-12), is seeking a Middle School English Teacher for a full-time position beginning August 1, 2021.
We are seeking a colleague who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is eager to create and share new curriculum and can demonstrate the ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
Teaching 4 sections of Middle School English;
Serving as an advisor to a group of Middle School students;
Contributing to two other areas of school life, including athletic or extracurricular programs;
Attending Chapel, proctoring study halls, and participating in a family style lunch program.
Qualified candidates will have a degree in English or a closely related field and a minimum of two years teaching experience in grades 6-8.
