Middle School Science Teacher

St. Stephen's Episcopal School, a day and boarding school of 690 students (grades 6-12), is seeking a Middle School Science Teacher for a full-time position beginning August 1, 2021.

Candidates should have a degree in Science or a closely related field and teaching experience in grades 6-8. The Science Department is looking for candidates who: are dynamic, inquisitive, continually advancing their knowledge of life sciences and teaching, utilize a variety of teaching methods, are technologically proficient, and love working closely with energetic students and a dedicated faculty. 

Duties include:

• Teaching 4 sections of 6th Grade Life Science;

• Serving as an advisor to a group of Middle School students;

• Contributing to two other areas of school life, including athletic or extracurricular programs;

• Attending Chapel, proctoring study halls, and participating in a family style lunch program.
