This position is responsible for inquiry and enrollment management communications, outreach and advising for Masterâ™s Programs supported by the School of Professional Studies (SPS).
The position ensures timely follow-up and personal attention to all inbound program inquires, providing detailed program information and professional-level advising to those considering masterâ™s study at Brown University.
The incumbent is responsible for implementing outreach and advising communications plans that are developed in coordination with the Enrollment Management team to increase enrollment levels for Brown Universityâ™s masterâ™s programs. The incumbent will maintain consistent follow-up with prospects via email, phone, and/or individual appointments. The incumbent will represent programs, and the University, at recruiting events.
Specific activities include: tracking and analyzing recruitment activities and results related to recruitment in various information systems (CRM) and databases, advising applicants on program âœfitâ, liaisoning with assigned masterâ™s programs, participating in recruitment and yield events (on-campus, off-campus, virtual sessions), ensuring smooth inquiry and application workflow, and personalized attention for all inquiries, prospects, applicants, and accepted students.
The position requires deep familiarity with the portfolio of residential masterâ™s programs for which they will be recruiting.
Prospective Student Engagement and Recruitment - 40%
â— Respond to program inquiries while promoting a positive prospective student experience with timely and quality customer service. â— Meet with prospective students and reviews program requirements and the admissions process. â— Maintain frequent communication with prospective students by phone, email, or in person, while providing assistance and support regarding program requirements, the admission process, application requirements, and enrollment. â— Input and maintain student information and activities within the customer relationship management (CRM) system, Slate Technolutions. â— Create program-level admission and enrollment reports and regularly uses application and enrollment data for planning and decision making â— Assist, where appropriate, with creation of recruitment materials, including handouts, letters, forms, checklists, and email templates. â— Represent Brown Universityâ™s masterâ™s programs in recruitment efforts, including on- and off-campus events and virtual opportunities
Liaison with Masterâ™s Programs Departments - 20%
â— Develop relationship with program administrators of assigned masterâ™s programs. Be first point of contact for questions from programs to enrollment management team. â— Coordinate recruitment and yield efforts that require partnership between programs and enrollment team. These may include, but are not limited to: on-campus events, online sessions, department visits, etc. â— Provide data and updates, as requested, on prospective students and application completion pipeline for programs. â— Function as enrollment team management representative in appropriate program-level recruitment and yield events, including online sessions and/or in-person events. â— Ensure program related information/resources are accurate and up-to-date.
Admitted Student Yield to Matriculated Status - 30%
â— Provide active follow-up communications and advising in support of accepted student decision-making process and âœconversionâ to matriculated status. â— Use Slate CRM for yield purposes, including delivering messages, answering Inbox emails, hosting online events, etc. â— Assist in preparing admitted student communication, including website, portal, deliver messages, etc.
Collaborate and ensure consistency across all graduate and professional programs within the portfolio - 10%
â— Ensure that processes are uniform and consistent across all graduate and professional programs within the portfolio. â— Continuously monitor processes with the enrollment management team to identify opportunities for greater efficiency.

Help plan and execute recruitment events (in-person and/or virtual) with potential audiences of several hundreds of prospective students
Assist in planning and executing yield strategies for enrollment of several hundreds of students across 5-7 residential masterâ™s program
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
Education and Experience
Bachelorâ™s degree and 3-5 years of or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
