The Elementary school counselor works with our elementary students both individually and in groups to develop academic and social skills. The counseling program provides preventative social/emotional guidance lessons in all classrooms, as well as responsive services. The team utilizes leadership and collaboration to promote student success and respond to identified student needs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A Masters Degree in Counseling from an accredited university/college program.
Professional license or certification
At least 3 years of experience as an Elementary School Counselor in an accredited school.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across cultures that promote collegial interaction.
Counsel and advise students individually and in groups.
Work with underserved and at-risk students.
Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Establish cooperative working relationships in the course of performing assigned duties.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
