The Sexual Harassment/Assault, Resources & Education (SHARE) Senior Clinical Services Coordinator is a direct service provider in the Office for Gender Equity (OGE) which is situated within the Office of the President and Provost. Reporting to the Director of the Office for Gender Equity with a dotted line report to Harvard University Health Services (HUHS), this confidential role supports individuals in the Harvard community who have experienced or witnessed interpersonal violence or harm, including, but not limited to, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, gender-based harassment, and harassment based on sexual orientation. Using a trauma-informed and intersectional clinical framework, this role offers direct crisis counseling, assistance with navigating and utilizing available University resources, medical accompaniment, and referral, as appropriate. The SHARE Senior Clinical Services Coordinator oversees the triage of all incoming cases, consults and advises on cases assigned to SHARE Confidential Counselors, and refers to University resources (e.g., Title IX resources, Counseling and Mental Health Services), and other University and/or community resources, as needed. The SHARE Senior Clinical Services Coordinator carries a caseload as a clinical service provider and operates the SHARE 24/7 crisis hotline, including scheduling and training staff on hotline operations and best practices. The SHARE Senior Clinical Services Coordinator also collaborates closely with the education staff within OGE and campus partners to develop evidence-based prevention strategies to reduce and prevent sexual harassment and other sexual misconduct, such as dynamics of healthy interpersonal relationships; consent education, and communication, and bystander intervention. The SHARE Senior Clinical Services Coordinator serves as a community resource, builds successful partnerships across the University, and works towards building a culture of respect, mutuality, and support for all members of the Harvard community. The position requires significant evening work and some weekends, a flexible schedule negotiable. PLEASE NOTE: During the current period of Covid-19 related restrictions, this position may start as a remote position, with the transition to onsite in Cambridge when the office reopens.
