Genetic Counselor, Maternal-Fetal Medicine Position Summary: Regions Hospital’s Medical Laboratory is currently seeking a professional Genetic Counselor to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be a self-directed, patient-focused team player with perinatal genetic counseling experience. The position is primarily located at the HealthPartners St. Paul Clinic (Wabasha Street) location but may require travel to other sites in the HealthPartners system. Maternal-Fetal Medicine is a new and growing program offered at HealthPartners, so this person has the opportunity to establish genetic counselling services for a team of three perinatology providers. As a member of our maternal-fetal medicine specialists, you will support and care for the most complex pregnancies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited graduate program Experience: none Licensure/Registration/ Certification: Board-certified/eligible by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or American Board of Medical Genetics (ABMG) Licensed/eligible for licensure as a Genetic Counselor by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice (MBMP) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: At least one year of experience in genetic counseling. |
