Professional Job Family: Administrative Professional - OT Eligible Position Details: Summary of Duties: The incumbent provides academic advisement for prospective and current graduate students within the School of Mechanical & Materials Engineering (MME) and coordinates academic programs related to the recruitment process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing advanced-level advising in the areas of academic planning for graduate students in MME; interpretation of degree, department, school, college, and university requirements; career explorations and other related matters; maintain student records for all MME graduate students; provide assistance in developing unit policies, procedures, and methodologies; provide administrative support to the Associate Director for Graduate Studies, collaborating with that person regarding policy decisions and assisting with data acquisition and analysis; coordinate and manage the MME Graduate Seminar series; and coordinate space allocation with the MME Space Committee chair. Position may develop and/or oversee the development of, and participate in, student workshops, professional development/training/mentoring, and student recruitment activities; coordinate processes including certification, transfer credit evaluation, student success programs, etc. Required Qualifications:
