Provide hands-on recruiting expertise to influence recruits and field leaders across the enterprise. Key focus will be mentoring and coaching field leaders, CDs, BMs, FFVPs, RVPs in the recruitment of experienced advisors at Ameriprise Financial. Also responsible for management of sourcing for the department including leadership of the Sourcing and Engagement team and management of our external search firms. Supports SVP in strategic leadership and implementation efforts.

Develop and implement aspects of the recruiting process (sourcing to closing) into a mentoring/coaching model with field leaders and recruiting team.
Leverage existing tools to continually evaluate the effectiveness of the field recruiting model. Use these tools to enhance field leader readiness for recruiting
Work closely with the Experienced Advisor Recruiting team to ensure consistency in the recruiting process and adherence to corporate and department policies and procedures.
Direct people leadership of the Sourcing and Engagement team including performance reviews and consistent 1:1s. Develop and drive the results of the team. Provide indirect leadership to EAR department in support of SVP.
Provide direct leadership to Divisional Director team, EAR Administration and Program Management, Women's Recruiting and AFIG Recruiting efforts.
Provide direct leadership to our efforts working with third party search firms for experienced advisors.
Bachelors degree or equivalent and minimum 10+ years relevant experience.
5+ years experience experience within Wealth Management industry with specific focus in recruiting financial advisors.
Strong understanding of the financial advisor community.
Strong relationship, negotiation, collaboration and communication skills.
Proven people leadership skills with both direct and indirect responsibility.
Must be able to establish credibility quickly and be an effective communicator.
