Application Deadline Open Until Filled Position Details JOB DESCRIPTION: This faculty member will: • Coordinate the Higher Education Leadership graduate programs, including recruitment, admissions, and advising and work collaboratively with TCU Student Affairs to provide students with authentic experiences. • Teach higher educational leadership graduate courses potentially including postsecondary leadership, college student development, community college leadership, history and philosophy of higher education, ethics, diversity and inclusion, organization and administration, and/or other program topics as needed. • Create and revise current courses to remain current in the field • Advise and mentor graduate students, including serving as chair or co-chair of capstone and dissertation committees • Provide service to the college, university, professional associations, and discipline-related organizations and partners
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. An earned doctorate in Educational Leadership, or related field, with an emphasis in Higher Education 2. Demonstrated success or the potential for success in teaching graduate courses related to higher education 3. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion 4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and staff 5. Demonstrated success in engaging professional educational leadership and/or research organizations (i.e., ASHE, NASPA, ACPA, AERA, CSCC). 6. A minimum of 5 years of teaching and/or leadership experience in higher education 7. Evidence of strong written and oral communication skills 8. An academic record of excellence in teaching and service appropriate to rank
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Two years of experience coordinating a graduate program related to educational leadership or higher education leadership 2. Five years of experience as a leader in a higher education setting 3. Five years of experience in university graduate-level teaching 4.
