The Wardlaw+Hartridge School, located in Edison, New Jersey, seeks an experienced, dynamic, and resourceful English teacher. The position may include DEI coordinator work if that is suitable to the individual who is hired.
We are looking for a collegial, engaging teacher who is adept at using literature to explore essential questions and equip students with skills to think critically, read deeply, and write effectively. We seek candidates who demonstrate success crafting curricula with a global perspective and framework. The selected candidate will serve as an advisor to a small group of students and participate fully in the life of the Wardlaw+Hartridge School, including effectively collaborating with colleagues, engaging in a continual cycle of professional development, actively joining meetings, committees, service learning, and other community gatherings, and working to uphold the mission and vision of the school. Teachers are expected to serve as club advisors and/or coaches as well.

A master’s degree and 3 - 5 years of teaching experience preferred.
