Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, part of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is currently seeking a board certified genetics counselor with demonstrated leadership skills to complement growing programs in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment in all areas of oncology. The successful candidate will provide clinical cancer risk assessments and genetic counseling for patients at risk for or identified with an increased risk to develop cancer, and be responsible for the management and oversight of the HOPE Center. He/She will also develop and disseminate educational materials for professionals and patients; design, implement and manage educational programs for patients, physicians, students, allied health professionals, and the public regarding multiple facets of medical genetics and genetic counseling. Faculty are expected to support the educational goals and activities of the School, and as such will be expected to be involved in teaching activities for medical students and residents as well as targeted lectures in their area of expertise.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Candidate must have a MS in Genetics Counseling with board certification. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
