Lower & Middle School Librarian

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s of Library Science from an A.L.A. accredited program is preferred 
• An additional degree in Education a plus 
• At least three years of school librarian experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of and enthusiasm for children’s and young adult literature and the ability to be an effective resource for students, teachers, and families
• Demonstrated experience and passion for educating children through an inclusive lens 
• A sincere commitment to professional development and investigating emerging trends in school library services 
• Passionate about working with and inspiring students 
• Strong interpersonal skills 
• Flexibility, positivity, and a sense of humor
