Teach a course load of 4 sections of 7th Grade US History
Work as a member of a grade-level and departmental team.
Serve as an advisor to 12-13 students
Engage in shared middle school responsibilities and duties as assigned including daVinci activity periods.

Bachelor’s degree in history, social studies or related field. Masters degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of prior, relevant classroom teaching experience teaching middle school students.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
An understanding and commitment to cultural competency and how to support a diverse student population of learners. Understanding of curriculum design and development is a plus.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Proficient in the use of technology, including Promethean Boards and Google platform.
