Middle and Upper School Spanish Teacher

Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School are seeking an experienced Middle and Upper School Spanish Teacher (Grades 7-12) to teach all levels of Spanish. This candidate will possess near-native to native fluency in Spanish, have at least five years previous teaching experience, a conferred Master’s degree in Spanish (preferred), and a willingness to collaborate with the World Languages Department, specifically the Spanish Program in order to support a strong vertical alignment.

This candidate must also possess a commitment to using a variety of pedagogical approaches in the classroom, including the ability to use technology effectively. Our ideal experienced candidate must also bring a love of learning, languages and cultures to this position, as well as a commitment to engaging each student in their Spanish studies. In addition to teaching 5 classes, this candidate will also serve as an advisor.
