Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart
Woodlands Academy is seeking a full-time (12-month) Dean of Students. The Dean reports to the Principal on all non-academic activities that involve students and faculty. In general, the Dean is responsible for fostering among the faculty and students a positive and caring atmosphere on a daily basis, a sense of order and discipline in the school, the supervision of student health services and safety, and the organization of all extracurricular activities so that the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart Education may be carried out effectively. Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart is one of 24 Sacred Heart schools in the United States and Canada. Sacred Heart education at Woodlands Academy is distinctive and emphasizes best practices for the education of girls and innovative practices for academic excellence. Established in 1858, the school forms global citizens and transforms young women within a dynamic of relationships that respond to the dignity of each member of the school community.
