The purpose of this position is to recruit and enroll incoming undergraduate and graduate students for the School of Graduate and Professional Studies (SGPS). The Admission Counselor is responsible for achieving enrollment goals for assigned online, hybrid, and face-to-face programs.
• Connect with prospective students and applicants via phone, email, synchronous technology or in-person to provide responsive service; • Process leads and applications through SalesForce; • Establish communication workflow for prospective students on assigned programs; • Coordinate recruitment events as they pertain to programmatic overview; • Identify and implement effective marketing strategies through various mediums; • Partner with internal stakeholders on recruitment efforts; • Lead bi-weekly vertical meetings; • Collect and analyze data as part of ongoing assessment; • Owning student issues until they are fully resolved and keeping all stakeholders in the know throughout the process; • Establishing collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, and internal customers; • Responding to phone calls and emails within 24 business hours; • Meeting or exceeding set goals and targets.
• Bachelor’s Degree; • Proficient in the use of software tools such as MS Powerpoint, MS Project, MS Word, and MS Excel; • 1-2 years of experience in a setting including: customer service, admissions, inside sales. • Excellent verbal and written communication; • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the college.
• Experience in SalesForce; • Master’s Degree.
