Upper School History

The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland, an independent K-12 boys’ school, seeks an energetic full time Upper School History teacher beginning in August for the 2021-2022 school year. The successful applicant will teach five sections of history, serve as an advisor to upper school students, and be actively involved in all facets of school life.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related subject and at least three years of experience teaching upper school history. A master’s degree in history is desired. Knowledge of best practices of instruction, instructional technologies and pedagogical techniques most beneficial to adolescent boys and an appreciation of a single-sex education will be highly valued.
