Poly Prep seeks applicants for the position of Middle School Science Teacher. Our Science Department, whose teaching practices are rooted in student-centered, lab-based, and constructivist approaches, seeks an individual eager to share his/her/their passion and respect for science as an intellectual framework and a medium for progressive social change. The ideal candidate will exhibit a love of learning and eagerness to engage with middle school students; an ability to forge creative connections among core ideas in science; openness to and experience in the use of varied assessment methods and tools; the desire for generous collaboration with colleagues; and demonstrated interest in incorporating sustainability and justice issues into the curriculum.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in science or science education or related discipline required. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of Middle School teaching experience. Physical science background preferred.
